Iran denies sending assault jets to Iraq

Spokeswoman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Marzieh Afkham denied information about Iran allegedly sending three Su-25 assault jets to fight Sunni militants of the Islamic Organization of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) in Iraq, RIA Novosti reports.

The U.S. has accused Iran of sending the three originally-Iraqi jets that Iran had been keeping since the 1991 Gulf War. Afgham ruled out shipments of jets or any other military machines to Iraq.
