The opposition electoral bloc ‘Reformation’ will present single
candidates from 107 districts for the parliamentary elections, Trend
reports, citing Fazil Mustafa, co-founder of the bloc and head of the
Great Creation Party.
He said that the number of candidates will not change. He said that
his bloc consists of his party, the People’s Front for a Unified
Azerbaijan, and the ‘Adalet’ and ‘Tyakyamul’ parties.
The parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held on November 7th
2010. Campaigning started on September 3rd.
The previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. The
elections are held based on a majority system in 125 electoral
districts.
