Georgy Alibegashvili, a professor at Tbilisi State University and member of the Georgian Dream coalition, may be put forward as a candidate to head Tbilisi Municipal Council, Georgia Online reports.
He is third on the party list. The political council of Georgian Dream discussed his candidature today. Tbilisi Municipal Council will hold its first session on July 14. Its new head will be elected at the session.
