New water treatment facilities with a capacity of 100,000 cubic m
daily are under construction in the Adler district of Sochi. Water
from the whole of the Adler region and Olympic facilities of the
coastal populated areas will be treated there, Yuga.ru reports, citing
the press-service of the ‘Olympstroy’ corporation.
Olimpstroy noted that the facilities will be seismic resistant.
Approximately 700 people are involved in the construction, using
modern technology. The facilities will have ultraviolet treatment and
pre-treatment of biological waste on micro-filter membranes.
