Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister and leader of the Justice and Development Party, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, an ex-head of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, a candidate of the opposition, and Selahattin Demirtas, a member of the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party, are the three candidates for president of Turkey, Trend reports.
The first round of presidential polls will be held on August 10, the second round (if no candidate gets 51% of votes) on August 24.
