Turkish Republican People's Party opposed to law on intelligence service

The Turkish Constitutional Court will consider the request of the Republican People's Party to ban the law on intelligence services, Trend reports.


The parliament and President Abdullah Gul passed the law in April 2014. The law gives the parliament control over intelligence. Cases against its staff can only be considered by the Supreme Court. The government protects families of intelligence agents.
