Prime Ministers Joomart Otorbayev (Kyrgyzstan) and Karim Masimov (Kazakhstan) have decided to activate negotiations on Kyrgyzstan’s joining the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Space. They met in Bishkek on July 12, Trend reports.Kazakhstan will assist Kyrgyzstan in realizing the road map for membership. Both sides admitted that Kyrgyzstan was integrating into the organizations successfully and was interested in trade-economic cooperation.The prime ministers discussed oil and petroleum trade, launch of the Kyrgyz Kazakh Direct Investment Fund, sanitary control for Kazakh dairy and meat products, energy cooperation, water supplies, settlement of disputes.
