Abkhaz Acting Defense Minister Mirab Kishmaria, ex-Interior Minister Leonid Dzapshba, opposition leader Raul Hajimba and Acting Chairman of the State Security Service Aslan Bzhania have been registered at the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) to campaign for presidency.The four are generals. They passed the Abkhaz language test yesterday. Ex-Vice Prime Minister Beslan Eshba failed to pass the test.Hajimba was introduced as a candidate at a session of the Forum for the National Unity of Abkhazia. Initiative groups have presented 2,000 signatures each.The off-year presidential polls in Abkhazia will be held on August 24.
