Members of the European Parliament have supported Luxembourg's former prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker's candidacy for the president of the European Commission, world media report on Tuesday.
As the new head of the commission, Juncker is going to focus on providing economic growth, establishing new jobs, democratic and judicial reforms.
He also believes the EU needs a new common foreign and security policy.
