Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has called for urgent sessions of the UNSC, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the UN Human Rights Council over the Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip.The foreign minister condemned Israel for the ground operation and emphasized that he was expecting support for Turkey’s initiative from other states. Davutoglu noted that he had discussed the problem with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
