US to allocate $20 million to Georgia for security reasons

The United States is going to allocate some $20 million to Georgia in order to improve the security of the former Soviet republic, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports. The corresponding amendment to the federal budget has been suggested by President Barack Obama.

The US is also going to provide Ukraine and Moldova with additional financial aide for the same purpose. Some $75 million is going to spent on the programme overall.
