Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili, currently on a visit to Israel, has met with elected President Reuven Rivlin, the Georgian parliament reports.

In addition, the sides discussed the situation in Israel and some issues related to Russian-Georgian relations.

During his visit to Israel, David Usupashvili will also meet with representatives of the Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Knesset, Zeev Elkin and opposition leader Isaac Herzog.
