Georgia hails Israel’s actions in Gaza

Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili said at a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Yuli-Yoel Edelstein that Georgia will do its best to support Israel in the international arena in the context of the operation in the Gaza Strip.

Usupashvili is visiting Israel despite missile attacks. His delegation had to stay in a safe place for certain time due to an air warning at Tel Aviv Airport.

Edelstein thanked Georgia for the support it had been giving during the operation. Usupashvili assured that Georgia will not change its attitude towards Israel.

Earlier, Georgia condemned missile attacks on Israel. The government reaffirmed that Israel had the right to protect the lives of its citizens.
