Russian Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District Sergey Melikov visited the Stavropol Territory. He attended the 3rd military and patriotic forum of young Cossacks of Russia’s South, Cossack Unity-2014, in Temnolesskaya (Shpakovsky District), met Acting Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, Grozny-Inform reports.
The forum will continue at the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Rehabilitation Center for four days. Experts will discuss spiritual and ethical problems.
Melikov met attendees of the forum and the chieftain of the Tersky Cossack Force. He visited the North Caucasus Federal University, met members of NCFD public and youth councils of the Stavropol Territory, discussed problems of Ukrainian displaced persons, their accommodation, education, development of youth policy and the socio-economic sector.
Melikov visited the Signal factory and other social facilities of the city, met authorities of law enforcement, members of the local government, heads of territorial administrations and ministries.
