Georgia establishes travel restrictions on Azerbaijanis and Armenians

Georgia is going to limit the period during which Azerbaijani and Armenian nationals are allowed to stay in the country without a visa, the head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry's Consulate Department, Georgy Tabatadze, has said at a special briefing.

 

Any foreign citizens, including Azerbaijanis and Armenians, are now only able to stay in Georgia for 90 days in a half-year period.

 

According to the official, the decision has been made in the framework of the country's integration into the European Union.
