UNSC does not allow trade with terrorists

 

The UN Security Council passed a declaration yesterday, discouraging purchase of oil from districts controlled by terrorists in Syria and Iraq. The UNSC considers such purchases support of terrorism, RIA Novosti reports.The Russian Foreign Ministry says that the document reaffirms sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq, including control over natural resources. The ministry expresses concerns about oil trade with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and the An-Nusra Front.
