Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan have to be fruitful and successful, since the republic of Azerbaijan plays an important role not only in the South Caucasus but also in Russia's relations with Turkey and Iran, the leader of the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, told VK.
The politician said that Azerbaijan has been a positive example in the Soviet era, as well as today. He praised the country's successes in all spheres of its life. The politician also talked favourably about Azerbaijan's policy regarding the Russian language.
