Russian and German leaders find solution to Ukrainian crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have prepared a secret plan to settle the Ukraine crisis, stabilize its borders and help revive its economy with a new energy deal, RBC reports.

Russia will agree to realize the plan if the international community recognizes Crimea as a Russian territory. In exchange, Russia will have to ditch the south-eastern part of the country. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko would refrain from joining NATO. Moscow would then allow Kiev and the EU to develop trade according to the Association Agreement, without creating any obstacles.
