Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has accepted a proposal from Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to meet on the sidelines of an April 12-13 nuclear security summit in Washington.
The Armenian president said that Yerevan is waiting for decisive steps from Turkey in attempts to establish Turkish-Armenian relations. Erdogan’s special envoy confirmed that Turkey desires positive change in ties with Armenia.
Sargsyan and U.S. President Barack Obama will also meet place in Washington.
Turkish press say Obama will also meet Erdogan, although the White House has not confirmed this.
