71 Armenian soldiers were killed and 80 were wounded on the Azerbaijani-Armenian contact line last week, said Lieutenant-General Rovshan Akperov, the commander of the Azerbaijani army corps, at a ceremony awarding a 3rd-rank Medal for Distinction in Service to the family of Isa Almazov, who was killed on the night of July 31 – August 1, Qafqazinfo reports.
The general added that 6-7 defensive positions of Armenia were destroyed.
