Turkish PM will retire after losing presidential polls

 

Turkish Vice Prime Minister Amrullah Isler said that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would retire if he loses the presidential polls. He noted that reforms of Erdogan in the country were proof that the population of Turkey would support him, Trend reports.Turkey will have the first round of presidential polls on August 10 and the second (if no candidate gains 51% of votes) on August 24.Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, a member of the oppositionist Republican People’s Party, ex-head of the OIC, is his opponent at the elections.
