Georgian ex-deputy Health Minister is suspected of corruption

The ex-deputy Labour, Health and Social Protection Minister of Georgia, Nikoloz Pruidze, has been arrested as a possible participant in a corrupt scheme to win a contract to supply vaccines against measles and mumps, first deputy General Prosecutor of Georgia David Sakvarelidze said today, NewsGeorgia reports.
It was also stated that Pruidze illegally helped his former fellow student and close friend, Besarion Gotsridze, to win the tender to supply the vaccines.
