An Armenian sabotage group attempted to cross the contact line in the Tovuz region at 13:30 local time, Azerbaijani news agency Trend cites the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry as saying.
The attempt was prevented due to the alertness of the Azerbaijani military units located on the front line. Neutralization measures started as the group was allowed to close the distance after they were revealed.
Four members of the sabotage group were killed while retreating and a 25-year-old member of the group, villager of Chinari of Armenia's Berd region Karen Petrosyan, was arrested by Azerbaijani soldiers.
