Iran is a significant actor in the region and an important neighbor
for Turkey, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a
joint-conference with Iranian Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi in
Istanbul, Trend reports, citing Anadolu.
The sides signed agreementы in economic, educational, youth and
cultural sphere of cooperation.
Erdogan and Rahimi discussed bilateral, regional and international
issues. Special attention was paid to terrorism and the Iranian
nuclear program.
The Iranian vice-president arrived in Turkey on September 15 on a
two-day visit. He also plans to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
