Belarus and Kazakhstan refuse to uphold Russia's ban on EU and US imports

Two members of the Eurasian Economic Union, Belarus and Kazakhstan, are not going to follow Russia's example and ban EU and US imports. The corresponding statement has been made by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

"It's our internal issue. If we need Polish apples we will continue to buy them, as well as German delicacies and other products," Lukashenko is quoted as saying by Yuga.ru.

Russia has recently banned food imports from the US, the EU, Norway, Canada and Australia in response to economic sanctions imposed on Russia.
