The Russian Minister for North Caucasus Affairs, Lev Kuznetsov, has started a two-day visit to Dagestan today. He is assisted by Deputy Ministers Andrey Reznikov and Odes Baysultanov. They will study investment projects, construction of buildings within the framework of resettlement of the Lak people of the Novolaksky District. A council for socio-economic development of Dagestan will be held in the evening.
On August 14, the delegation will visit Derbent, buildings constructed and reconstructed for the 2000th anniversary of the city. The delegation will visit the international airport under construction at Arablinka.
A council on celebration of the 2000th anniversary will be organized at the city administration after that.
