Leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus discuss Russia’s counter-sanctions

 

Presidents Vladimir Putin (Russia), Nursultan Nazarbayev (Kazakhstan) and Alexander Lukashenko (Belarus) have discussed cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, including prevention of shipments of products banned by the Russian leader, in a telephone conversation, ITAR-TASS reports.Russia banned imports of beef, pork, vegetables, fruits, poultry, fish, dairy products from the EU, Australia, Canada, Norway and the U.S. on August 7.
