Tajikistan is ready to increase its food exports to Russia by 500 percent, the press sercretary of the country's ministry of agriculture, Narzullo Dadabayev, is quoted as saying by Interfax. The official refered to fruit and vegetable exports.
Russia has recently imposed a ban on fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy products, fish and seafood produced in the EU, the US, Norway, Canada and Australia in response to western sanctions against the Russian economy.
