Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reiterated his country's desire to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at a meeting with the visiting head of the international body, Kuwait News Agency reports on Sunday.
IAEA is the sole body internationally qualified in the field of nuclear issues, Zarif said at the meeting, stressing the need for the IAEA to act in the framework of its regulations as a professional and neutral body.
Amano arrived in Tehran in order to hold separate meetings with President Hassan Rouhani and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi.
