Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili will visit Armenia on August 21-22 to meet Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Ovik Abramyan, Trend reports.
They will discuss economic and political affairs, the situation after Georgia signed the EU Association Agreement and Armenia joining the Customs Union, as well as Georgia’s plans to impose a visa regime on Armenia on September 1, 2014.
The latter will force all foreigners willing to stay in Georgia for over 90 days to get visas in the Georgian Foreign Ministry or consulates.
