Georgia to stop selling medicaments to children

Selling medicaments to children will be banned in Georgia on September 1. Pharmacologists that those violating the amendments to the law on medicaments and pharmaceuticals will be fined $290, said Dmitry Khundadze, the head of the parliamentary committee for healthcare, Trend reports.

The lawmaker explained that the new rules were needed to prevent children from misusing medicaments. The same rules have already been applied to alcohol and tobacco sales.
