Kiev calls for new Marshall Plan

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said yesterday that the West should send military aid to fight militants in Donetsk and Luhansk, comparing such a move to aid sent to Iraq. In his words, such assistance would be beneficial for both Ukraine and the EU, ITAR-TASS reports.

The minister noted that Ukraine needed an analogue of the Marshall Plan, with the U.S. implementing it and Germany supervising the mission.
