The Iranian armed forces have been equipped with 155-mm Hoveyzeh howitzers (U.S. M109A1 analogue), 14.5-mm Shaher sniper rifles (2012 model with a range of 3km), and armored vehicles similar to Russia's BTR-82, Trend reports.
Iran has been manufacturing its own tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, radars, submarines and jet fighters since 1992.
