The prime minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, received from the hands of the ambassador of Israel, Yuval Fuchs, a letter of thanks from his Israeli colleague Benjamin Netanyahu today.
The Israeli prime minister expressed gratitude to his colleague in the letter that in days of the military operation in the Gaza Strip Georgia appeared among those countries which could understand the situation and supported Israel in its right to protect the population and sovereignty.
Irakli Garibashvili with gratitude accepted the letter and discussed with the Israeli ambassador both the international situation and further prospects of development of relations between Israel and Georgia.
Informed circles report that the letter of the prime minister is a particular preparation for visits by representatives of the top leadership of Israel to Georgia and Azerbaijan in the coming months
