Ukrainian militants regain control of territories

Ukrainian militants have regained control of the Novoazovsk, Starobeshevsky and Avrosiyevsky districts, Slavyanoserbsk, Krymskoye, Kirovsk, and roads on the Mangush-Osipenko line. 7000 soldiers have been surrounded. Militants plan to take over Mariupol. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is adamant that Russian forces within the ranks of the militants were behind the progressing resistance.

The U.S. and Germany have declared plans for new anti-Russian sanctions. The Ukrainian PM urged them to freeze all Russian assets before the end of the war.

Russian Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that the accusations of Kiev, Brussels and Washington were really disappointment with the failures of the law enforcers. Igor Korotchenko, the editor-in-chief of Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine, doubts that Russia sent any forces.
