The Caspian region should a be region of peace and stability, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after meeting his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Russian Foreign Ministry's official website reports.
"We are neighbours and we are all interested in peace and stability in the Caspian region," the Russian minister said.
