Australia passes new sanctions against Russia

 

Australia has passed new sanctions against exports of weapons, petroleum equipment. It limited access of Russian banks to national capital and banned investments in Crimea and trade with the republic. The blacklist of individuals hit by financial sanctions and banned from Australia was expanded, Interfax reports.Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot warned that Russia could turn into an international outsider for bullying smaller nations.
