Turkish parliament approves new governmentThe Turkish Parliament has given a vote of confidence to the government of Ahmet Davutoglu. Turkey's 62nd government won 306 votes from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the Turkish parliament, with 133 lawmakers from the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) voting against it.The new government was formed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu of the ruling AKP.The only noticeable change in the government was the appointment of Mevlut Cavusoglu as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
