Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet new heads of regions to round up the elections of September 14 and discuss plans for development of 30 regions, ITAR-TASS reports.
Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the new economic conditions will be one of the topics the president will discuss.
Governor elections cancelled in 2005 were revived in autumn 2012. This year has seen the most mass governor elections, 30 heads of regions were elected.
