Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani has dismissed the United States’ claim to fighting terrorism as ridiculous, saying Washington has a negative track record in supporting terrorism, Iran's state-run media outlet Press TV reports.
Addressing a Majlis open session on Sunday, Larijani said despite its dark track record in supporting terrorism, today, Washington is deceptively showing too much enthusiasm for fighting terrorism.
He stated that the US' "power-thirsty structure" is tied to terrorism phenomenon in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and Syria.
