The Ministry for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Control has been formed in Dagestan, according to the order N208 (passed on September 22) of Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov and article 78 of the Dagestani Constitution. Major-General Nariman Kazimagamedov, the head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, has become the head of the new ministry, RIA Dagestan reports.
The government will soon work on documentation, financing and property issues of the ministry.
