Russia and Iran are mutually interested today in creating the widest coalition which will resist the political and economic aggression of the West, an adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Sergey Glazyev, declared in conversation with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, commenting on the forthcoming meeting of the heads of the Russian and Iranian states on the sidelines of the Caspian summit in Astrakhan.According to him, Russia and Iran are in similar situations. "Russia needs to bridle the American aggression which today has occupied the territory of a large European country, I speak about Ukraine, established a dictatorship in Kiev and uses it to create neo-fascist forces. We see a similar situation in the Middle East, where extremists nurtured by the Americans have created a whole terrorist state - don't forget that the USA stand at the origins and arms, and formation of the terrorists of the so-called "Islamic State". That is, a world war begins with the aggression of the USA against Russia in Ukraine and against Iran and Syria in the Middle East," the adviser to the President of the Russian Federation concludes.Earlier, in interview to Vestnik Kavkaza, the ambassador of Iran to Russia, Mehdi Sanai, spoke positively about the prospects of the two countries.
