Zhirinovsky meets Azerbaijani president

 

LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky has met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku. The sides discussed bilateral relations of Azerbaijan and Russia, inter-parliament cooperation. The Russian lawmaker said that he was impressed by the country.Zhirinovsky noted that Azerbaijan protected the Russian language. He expressed hope that more Russian schools would open.The legislator visited School N23 and delivered a lecture about the Russian language and literature to grade 6. He also met grade 10 pupils and described the Russian policy in the region and “rotting” West. All previous negative statements about Azerbaijan were just misunderstanding, Zhirinovsky admitted.The LDPR leader reminded that he had visited Baku 40 years ago and had seen big improvements made by Ilham Aliyev since then.
