Iraq has called on Azerbaijan to take part in the reconstruction of its infrastructure, devastated as a result of the events that took part in the country in recent years, AzerNews reports.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari made the remark during a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov within the framework of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly on September 26, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of development of Azerbaijani-Iraqi relations.
