Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has met with UN Development Program Chief Helen Clark. They discussed the economic development of Georgia, the situation on occupied territories, humanitarian aid, contacts of people on both sides of the delimitation line, the role of the UN in settling conflict and income distribution, Trend reports.
Clark emphasized that the EU Association and the Free Trade Agreement gave Georgia new opportunities to find foreign investors, open new jobs, stimulate small and medium-sized business and boost agriculture.
Clark is on a tour of the South Caucasus.
