Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called fighting terrorism and preserving the territorial integrity of Syria the main foreign policy priorities of Turkey during his first speech in parliament as the head of state. Erdgan noted that, in conducting the fight against terrorism in the region, Turkey doesn't intend to interfere in the internal affairs of its countries. "Turkey has no desire to interfere in the internal affairs of neighboring countries or the countries of our region. We don't covet their lands. Turkey never looks at neighboring states only from the position of its own interests," he assured. Abashidze emphasized that the question of a conflict between the euro-association of Georgia and Russian economic interests won't be discussed at the meeting. He also reported that at the meeting with Karasin the question of restoration of a transport connection via the Abkhazian railroad won't be considered in essence.
