An official of Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, has welcomed Iran’s planned military aid to the Lebanon’s army in its fight against terrorism, Press TV reports.
Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, said Iran’s promised aid to the Lebanese army comes at the right moment as the country's military forces are battling terrorists at the present sensitive juncture, IRNA reported on Saturday.
He added that Lebanon should extend its gratitude to Iran for providing the country with military aid.
