U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has met the leader of the Fatherland Party of Ukraine, Yulia Tymishenko, TASS reports.
They discussed the Minsk agreements, the fate of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko who was taken into custody in Russia as a suspect in the murders of journalists, and joint efforts for her release.
Experts say that the Fatherland Party may form a faction in the new parliament after the October 26 elections.
