Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev arrived in the USA last night to
participate in the 65th session of the UN General Assembly, AzerTag
reports.
Ilkham Aliyev met spokesman for the US Secretary of State on Eurasian
energy affairs, Richard Morningstar.
They discussed cooperation between the two countries in energy and
settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The deputy secretary of state for European and Eurasian issues, Philip
Gordon, was also at the meeting.
