An Armenian officer who was seen beating soldiers on an internet video
has been arrested and charged with abuse of authority, ARKA reports,
citing the Armenian Defense Ministry.
According to media, Major Sasun Galstyan was beating and humiliating
two soldiers while drunk. He is under arrest and his mobile phone has
been confiscated. The investigation is also questioning the serviceman
who recorded the beating, his father and brother.
The video appeared on Youtube on September 11.
